This is the pinnacle of everything vs. law of diminishing returns. IMO the people that can’t figure the app out are experiencing operator errors, network issues, idk, because I love it. I use it for all my Tidal, it gives me MQA which I am a big fan of, I feel like the tech has so much potential and sounds really good! The earc capabilities alone on this, if your tv is compatible, it’s so awesome the way I can use my nice bluray SACD player to hear everything in it’s uncompressed, bit perfect glory! I didn’t believe in streamers until I tried bluesound! And I’m starting to think all the free advertising I’m giving them lol, shouting from every mountaintop I can find about it, perhaps they should hire me ????

    best budget streamer

It's got bass, groove, and rhythm. Makes listening fun. There are one or two booby traps in the initial setup menu that can frustrate you if you have to start over. Once setup, the Bluos app is a dream to work with! The best! A big step up from SONOS where many of us started. Easy to get to TIDAL hi res stream and use the Direct Connect button, supported by both brands BlueSound and TIDAL, to get a noticeable up-tick in sound quality! Bigger better sound stage, imaging, and detail.
The point is that you can beat this Node from BlueSound, but you gotta spend double at least! Yes, it is a stairway to heaven, the gateway streamer that gets you hooked on 'more'!

    It’s ok

It could be a great device if they included a more robust power supply and refined the terrible UI, as the current BlueOS interface is awful. The sound quality is decent for its price, and I can recommend it, especially if they eventually fix the software.

    Poor app control

Nice streamer, with good sound for the price. Terrible app (Blu Os) though. Repeatedly loses connection, very frustrating experience. That pretty much makes this a fail….look elsewhere for your streaming device.

Easy to set up. Upgraded the interconnect cables and achieved very good sound on complex classical orchestral music. I'm very satisfied.

I bought this as an upgrade and intend to share my music library with the family through a secondary system using my external solid state drive usb-connected device. The 132 fails to recognize these devices(2) but does see USB micro B non SSD’s.

    Vast improvement over 2i

It's an obvious improvement over the older 2i that I've been using for streaming for the last few years. Much fuller, richer, more analog sound. Radio Paradise and Qobuz have never sounded better in my system.

Großes Gerät, das sich mit hervorragenden Ergebnissen in die hi-fi-Kette Ihres Hauses einfügen kann und älteren Systemen die Möglichkeit gibt, auf die Welt der flüssigen Musik zuzugreifen

Great device capable of being inserted into the hi-fi chain at home with excellent results and giving the possibility to recent sys to access the world of liquid music

The earlier model Node has worked as advertized. I have the anniversary model as well but it is not installed currently. Sound is fine on my reasonably nice system. Built is very good. I have had a couple of unresolved software issues making the ethernet correction unusable and some issues with my Android phone requiring a reboot of the phone to resolve. When the Node doesn't see the internet connection it needs and then I change to that network, it will not work until I reboot the phone. This came with an update but remains unresolved with newest updates to both the Node and the phone.
