TV stand and Subwoofer support

Versatile Subwoofer and TV Stand Can Be Added Effortlessly to Augment Bass Performance and Expand Placement Options.

CES 2017, Las Vegas, NV, January 4, 2017 — Bluesound, the leader in wireless high-res multi-room music systems, today announced two new products that further improve the performance and flexibility of the recently introduced PULSE SOUNDBAR. The PULSE SUB ($599 U.S. MSRP) is Bluesound’s first wireless subwoofer that offers a quick and easy connection to the PULSE SOUNDBAR or to any home theater system. The TS100 TV Stand for the PULSE SOUNDBAR ($299 U.S. MSRP) is the best way to conveninently add the PULSE SOUNDBAR to your home theater when space is limited. Both are available for immediate delivery.

The PULSE SUB features a compact, slim, rectangular shape, allowing it to fit beside, behind, or underneath living room furniture. This flexible, room-friendly design offers several clever installation options that installers and their clients will readily appreciate.

The TS100 TV Stand is the perfect solution to adding high-res audio to your HD TV. Fit the TV to the top of the TS100 Stand and then using the PULSE SOUNDBAR’s supplied wall mount bracket, simply slide the PULSE SOUNDBAR beneath the TV for a seamless, one-piece look. The TS100 supports flat panel TVs up to 65” with the flexibility to adjust the height or tilt of the TV. A rear cable management channel assures all wiring is simple and the installation is clean.

Wirelessly pair the PULSE SUB and PULSE SOUNDBAR together using the BluOS app to maximize the performance of the PULSE SOUNDBAR and create a truly heart-pounding experience. There is also the option of a wired connection as well. Perfect acoustic alignment in the crossover region is easily dialed in with the BluOS App for smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Behind the PULSE SUB’s prodigious bass is a 100W Continuous Class D amplifier driving a long-excursion 6 ½” Polypropylene woofer with rubber surround and high temperature voice coil. For fine tuning the sub to its environment and/or to the listener’s preferences, precise controls are included for Volume, Variable Frequency, Variable Phase 0 – 180. There are also a Standby Control Switch and Pairing Mode Switch. Frequency response is 26Hz – 150Hz, remarkable for such a compact enclosure weighing little more than 15 lbs.

Like all Bluesound PULSE speakers, the acoustic design and speaker voicing is performed at Canada’s National Research Council by renowned speaker designer and engineer, Paul Barton.

“Though the PULSE SOUNDBAR on its own has remarkable bass performance that will satisfy the majority of users, we know that for some, there is simply never too much bass. We salute those enthusiasts and offer the PULSE SUB,” commented John Banks, Chief Brand Officer for Bluesound. “Of course adding the PULSE SUB will truly deliver that very last octave or two of low frequencies from their favorite movies or music. And this sub is so compact and versatile, that it can be located almost anywhere. So we believe the PULSE SUB will be a welcome addition for those customers who either have the PULSE SOUNDBAR or any soundbar.”

For flexibility in integrating the PULSE SUB into a space, a wall mount bracket is included to allow the PULSE SUB to be located almost anywhere in the room. All mounting hardware and simple instructions are included. The innovative rubber feet can also be used to stand the PULSE SUB vertically for placement behind or beside a sofa or chair, or it can be laid down underneath a couch or end table.

To make the PULSE SUB even easier to get up and running, complete accessories are included as standard: 120V and 230V AC power cords, stereo RCA to RCA cable, Ethernet cable, two kickstand feet,
two kickstand extenders, and a wall mount bracket
with mounting template for simple installation.

The PULSE SUB and TS100 TV Stand will be featured along with the companion PULSE SOUNDBAR at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, January 5-7 at the Venetian Hotel Suite 30-235. Sister brands, NAD Electronics and PSB Speakers, will also be featured in the same exhibit suite.
