Global panel of hi-fi experts recognizes Bluesound’s next generation streaming amplifier for outstanding performance, flexibility, and multi-room capabilities.
TORONTO, CANADA, AUGUST 23, 2026 – BLUESOUND, the premium wireless multi-room audio brand, has won the 2026-2027 EISA Award in the Multi-Room Amplifier category for its latest POWERNODE. EISA, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, is an independent body comprising of more than 50 speciality electronics publications from around the world. Award winners are selected as the best in their category from thousands of products tested and reviewed by EISA member publications.
EISA’s group of hi-fi experts recognized the POWERNODE for its exceptional combination of streaming flexibility, amplification performance, home theater capabilities, and seamless multi-room integration.

“Bluesound’s POWERNODE marks a step forward for affordable streaming amplifiers, adding a three-channel output for LCR use and enabling 5.1 playback via Dolby Digital decoding, HDMI eARC connectivity, and compatibility with wireless surround speakers. Its updated DirectDigital amplification delivers 2x100W or 3x80W, using low-distortion GaN technology, and the unit is Dirac Live Ready for future room correction upgrades, enhancing its home theatre potential. As part of the BluOS ecosystem, the new POWERNODE streams from Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and Amazon Music, and plays MQA, DSD and 192kHz/24-bit hi res files. Additionally, the BluOS Controller app makes it easy to integrate this compact streaming amplifier into a wider, multi-room system.”
